Flow Cytometry Fees and Scheduling
It is necessary to make your appointment at least 1 day in advance for the Gallios analyzer and 3 days in advance for the sorter. Also scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis. Users are charged from the beginning of their reservation time. For the MoFlo XDP users are charged a minimum of 1 hour for instrument set up and alignment in addition to their actual sorting time.
Introductory User Fees
External users / UMMC and CI members
Analyzer Gallios with operator: $60 / $40 per hour
Analyzer Gallios without operator: -- / $20 per hour
Sorting MoFlo XDP: $75 / $50 per hour
Users are billed in 30 min increments.
Please note that user fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.
Canceling Time
In order to prevent unreliable scheduling of appointments and maximize the use of the instruments we require prior notification of any cancellations or you will be charged for the full time of the appointment. We require a 24 hour cancellation notification for the Gallios analyzer and a 48 hour notification for the MoFlo XDP sorter.
Training
The Gallios is available for use by investigators in two ways, either the facility staff will operate the instrument for the investigator or the investigator may operate the instrument at a reduced cost upon certification and satisfactory completion of the in-house training course. Regular hourly fees apply during training sessions; estimated minimum training time is 4 hr. We do not recommend that you take the training class unless you plan to do a substantial amount of analysis.
The MoFlo XDP instrument is available only as run by the flow cytometry facility staff.
